MGMT 6615 Competitive Intelligence in the Age of AI: From Insight to Advantage 3.0 Credits

Competitive Intelligence (CI) is the systematic process of collecting, analyzing, and applying information about competitors, markets, and external environments to support strategic decision-making. Traditionally, CI has relied on structured frameworks and human analysis to anticipate competitor moves and identify opportunities. Today, the landscape has fundamentally shifted. The scale, speed, and complexity of data, combined with advances in artificial intelligence, have transformed how intelligence is generated, interpreted, and acted upon. This course integrates CI frameworks with modern AI capabilities, including machine learning, and generative AI. Students will learn how organizations move from information gathering, intelligence generation, AI-augmented decision-making.
