MIP 433 Audio Production IV 3.0 Credits

In this course, students will gain in-depth knowledge of advanced vocal and drum production techniques using Pro Tools, Ableton Live and Logic Pro. The course is structured around weekly studio sessions and hands-on learning experiences, covering a wide range of topics from vocal recording, and editing to drum replacement and multi-DAW production. Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of audio production, including vocal coaching, comping, tuning, alignment, repair, and mixing. Additionally, students will be introduced to multi-DAW production workflows and the process of creating multitrack and stems for mixing and mastering purposes.
