MIP 2059 Topics in Music Production 3.0 Credits
This course expands students' understanding of contemporary music production by examining current tools, techniques, and creative approaches shaping professional practice today. Subject matter evolves with the field and may span advanced digital audio workstation workflows, hybrid recording approaches, music composition for emerging platforms, and the application of new production technologies in studio practice. Hands-on studio work and critical listening are central to how students engage with the material, and assessments may take the form of production projects, written assignments, or presentations.
