MIP 2610 Music Industry Entrepreneurship 3.0 Credits
This course introduces students to the practical facets of entrepreneurship in the music industry. It focuses on the key components of developing a business through conceptualizing, refining, and pitching a business concept. The course emphasizes innovative and critical thinking, the application and reinforcement of business and marketing fundamentals, and an understanding of strategies and processes that contribute to successful business outcomes. Students develop the mindset, knowledge, and skills to pursue entrepreneurial-centered professional paths, whether as stewards of their own careers, founders of new ventures, or contributors within companies and organizations.
