This course examines the technical and professional demands of producing music events at scale, from regional festivals to major touring productions. Students explore how large-format audio systems, RF coordination, and stage infrastructure intersect with the production management, budgeting, vendor contracts, and logistical planning that drive successful large-scale events. Subject matter is updated regularly to reflect current industry practice and may also address broadcast integration, sustainability in live production, and emerging technologies in the live event space. Assessments may include technical project work, production planning exercises, and presentations.
