MIP 3130 Studio Maintenance 3.0 Credits
This course covers maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical management of professional recording facilities. Students learn systematic approaches to equipment testing, preventive maintenance, and signal flow diagnosis. Topics include troubleshooting analog and digital audio systems, cable testing and repair, equipment calibration, and facility safety protocols. Through hands-on exercises and projects, students develop technical competencies essential for studio operation while learning to identify and resolve common equipment problems.
