This course challenges students to critically examine the technologies fundamentally reshaping how music is created, distributed, and experienced. Content is driven by current developments across the industry and updated each time the course is offered, with potential areas of focus including artificial intelligence in music production and distribution, immersive and spatial audio formats, data analytics for artist and label strategy, and emerging platform ecosystems redefining how audiences discover and consume music. Students are expected to engage with real industry challenges through research, analysis, and discussion, and may be assessed through research papers, case studies, or presentations.
