MIS 2200 Management Information Systems 3.0 Credits
Businesses can’t function without information systems. The latest technologies and approaches to systems development are essential for firms to deliver innovative products and services. The objective of this course is to provide students with a good understanding of how management information systems can be used to create value, enable business operations, and support analytics and decision-making. Students get hand-on experience solving problems for management information systems. Coming out of this course, students will have a good understanding of what management information systems are, their function in a firm, and what all the different terms mean.
