MIS 3446 Management Information Systems Strategy 3.0 Credits

Corporate strategy drives information technology choices but, at the same time, corporate strategy is often driven by new technological developments. Almost every product now has a large digital component or is completely digital. Using case studies and a review of current technologies, students explore the interactions between strategy and information systems, and the ways information systems can best be managed. To this end topics like information systems infrastructure, security and governance are explored. Additionally, students will learn how to stay up to date on the latest technologies and industry developments.
