MKTG 3347 New Product Development 3.0 Credits

Developing new products is a complex task influenced by multiple organizational and external factors. This course introduces students to the new product development (NPD) process and its intricacies, helping students recognize opportunities in the market and determine which gaps are worth pursuing and which are best left behind. This course will emphasize human-centered design and its application in developing innovative solutions that meet real customer needs. Students will also learn how to approach product development strategically, aligning the new product ideation process with current organizational goals and anticipating the long-term trajectory of the business.
