MKTG 3355 Strategic Content Marketing 3.0 Credits

Consumers are becoming increasingly savvy and able to block out paid advertisements. That’s why marketers have to be creative to be able to stand out and connect with their ideal customers. One of the most powerful tools for doing so is organic content, including social media, email marketing, influencer collaborations, podcasts, blogs, and websites. This course introduces students to the principles and practice of authentic, purpose-driven content marketing. When designed with purpose and with a deep understanding of the ideal customer, such content leads to higher customer engagement, helps encourage consumer-to consumer interactions and build a brand community. The outcome of these efforts are higher conversation rates, organic long-term business growth, and happy customers who become brand advocates.
