MKTG 6620 Social Impact Marketing 3.0 Credits
Marketing can drive meaningful social change in a world facing complex societal challenges. This course teaches students to apply strategic marketing and behavioral science to tackle “wicked” problems and advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It is ideal for careers in social enterprise, nonprofit leadership, corporate responsibility, and public policy. Students explore systems thinking, stakeholder engagement, behavioral economics, and digital tools to design high-impact social marketing interventions. Through case studies, simulations, and collaborative projects, they learn to analyze social issues, develop evidence-based strategies, and create interventions that shift behavior.
