MSE 4026 Materials for Additive Manufacturing 3.0 Credits
This course covers additive manufacturing (AM) from a materials science and engineering perspective. Processing, structure, property relationships are examined for metals, polymers, and ceramics as well as composites used in additive manufacturing. Ideas and concepts from powder processing, solidification processing and welding applicable to AM are discussed.
