MSE 5085 Nanomaterials 3.0 Credits
Nanostructured materials are the building blocks of future technologies, spanning electronics, communications, energy storage, healthcare, and space exploration. This course covers a wide range of advanced materials with nanoscale features and quantum properties, including, but not limited to, graphene, MXenes, nanodiamonds, fullerenes, and nanotubes. The course will discuss structure, properties, and applications. Students will gain experience in critically analyzing scientific literature and will write and present a term paper on potential applications of nanoscale materials of their choice.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
