MUSC 231 European Classical Music History 3.0 Credits
This course surveys and analyzes compositions from antiquity through the modern period in European music history. After an overview of musical vocabulary, we will study selected masterpieces of Western music, thereby gaining a greater appreciation for developments of musical style.
