NHP 760 Academia for Health Professionals 2.0 Credits
Students will be introduced to the organizational structures and functions commonly found in universities and colleges. Enduring and contemporary internal and external environmental issues of higher education and professional development will be examined. Emphasis is placed on quality assurance issues in the management of academic programs. Familiarity with the context of academic environments will enable to students to understand their roles and responsibilities as faculty members, within the context of the department, college, and university levels.
