This course introduces students to how nonprofit organizations operate in practice. Learners explore the history, purpose, and diversity of the sector while examining governance, management, philanthropy, and volunteer engagement. Through hands-on, experiential learning in nonprofit settings and thoughtful exploration of AI-supported tools, students gain practical insight into how mission-driven organizations mobilize people, resources, and ideas to create social impact.
