NPM 6100 Nonprofit Public Policy, Advocacy, and Civic Influence 3.0 Credits
This course examines how nonprofit organizations influence public policy, civic discourse, and social change at local, national, and global levels. Students explore advocacy, lobbying, coalition building, and public engagement strategies while analyzing real-world policy challenges. Through experiential learning and selective use of AI-informed tools, learners develop practical skills to advance mission-aligned policy goals and strengthen the civic impact of nonprofit organizations.
