NUAN 800 Nurse Anesthesia Practice for Special Patient Populations IV 4.0 Credits

This is the fourth in a series of five Nurse Anesthesia Practice for Special Patient Populations courses. In this course, the physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology and anesthesia management for the patient undergoing neurosurgical and hepatic procedures, and for those with hematologic, renal, endocrine and neuromuscular disorders is also examined. A difficult airway workshop is offered to introduce the student to various airway devices and techniques.
