NUAN 803 Nurse Anesthesia Practice for Special Patient Populations V 4.0 Credits

This is the fifth in a series of five nurse anesthesia practice for special patient populations courses. The course provides theoretical knowledge and perianesthetic management related to robotic, ENT/ophthalmic, trauma, burns, orthopedic, and transplant procedures. The anesthetic management for the patient presenting with cancer is also discussed. To address the importance of patient safety, students are exposed to a critical incident simulation scenario.
