NUAN 603 Overview of Nurse Anesthesia 3.0 Credits
This course provides an overview of essential nurse anesthesia practice and principles, pharmacology, and an anesthesia focused preoperative health and physical assessment component for various surgical procedures. The lecture content is reinforced through simulation in the NUAN 604-Introduction to Simulation course. Nurse anesthesia professional aspects including the importance of wellness is also explored.
