NUPR 701 Evidence-based Practice: Research-driven Health Care Delivery 3.0 Credits

This course is designed to assist students in building evidence-based practice (EBP) expertise. Students will identify and define practice problems and incorporate this understanding into comprehensive database and gray literature searches designed to reveal relevant research and science. Studies will be appraised and synthesized to reveal potential science-driven interventions that are anticipated to improve or resolve the practice problem. Organizational culture and structures will be considered as important influences in the uptake of EBP by nurses and interprofessional colleagues.
