NUPR 704 Evaluating Research Quality: Evidence Appraisal 1.0 Credit

This course is constructed to provide students with opportunities to select and apply critical appraisal tools to selected research studies. Students will learn to recognize critical components of published scientific studies and gray literature and evaluate the rigor and relevance of quantitative and qualitative studies retrieved via a methodical search. There will be opportunities for students to summarize and present research findings to student-colleagues using various communication modalities.
