NUPR 707 Health Law and Clinical Practice/Organizational Ethics 3.0 Credits

This course provides graduate students with the critical thinking framework and content expertise necessary for thoughtful, ethical and legal analyses and decision-making when confronted with simple and complex situations that occur during professional practice and administrative activities. Nursing’s code of ethics and its interpretive statements are carefully explored. Practice hours provide opportunities for students to witness various activities that pertain to health-related organizational processes that connect to ethical decision-making and law/risk management.
