This course explores palliative and hospice care delivery models and differentiates them by investigating their goals, priorities, insurability, and impact on the patient and family health experience. Students examine these transitions in care and consider published databased literature and gray literature to develop a rich understanding of the opportunities inherent in these specialized approaches to symptom management, curative treatment, and end-of-life care.
