NURS 3003 Reproductive Health Nursing Across the Lifespan 4.0 Credits
This course focuses on the management of human reproductive health, with particular emphasis on birthing individuals and newborn health. Students will explore the social determinants of health and their impact on health promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention within the context of childbearing families. The course encourages the application of theoretical knowledge informed by evidence-based research to deliver safe, quality, person-centered care. Upon completion, students will be equipped to address the unique health needs of birthing individuals and their newborns while promoting positive health outcomes for the family unit.
