NURS 6202 Curriculum Design for Transformative Nursing Education 3.0 Credits
This course equips future educators with the essential knowledge and skills to design and evaluate nursing curricula that foster critical thinking, clinical judgment, and lifelong learning. Students examine curriculum models, develop course and class-level objectives, and apply backward design principles to align learning outcomes with formative and summative assessment strategies applicable to the level of their learners. Through this course, students establish foundational knowledge and skills to participate in programmatic evaluation and accreditation processes to ensure curriculum effectiveness and continuous quality improvement in academic and professional development settings.
