NURS 8000 Transforming Evidence into Change for Advanced Nursing Practice 3.0 Credits
This course prepares Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students to critically evaluate, apply, and synthesize research for evidence-based practice. Students will explore both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, ethical considerations in human subjects research, and foundational research concepts such as study design, sampling, and data analysis. Emphasis is placed on developing skills to appraise the quality and relevance of current research and apply findings to improve patient outcomes and advance nursing practice.
