NURS 8004 Quality Improvement and Program Evaluation in Doctoral Nursing Practice 3.0 Credits
This course prepares DNP students to lead and evaluate quality improvement (QI) initiatives within complex healthcare environments. Students will apply theoretical frameworks and project management tools to design and propose evaluation of a rapid-cycle QI project aligned with the evidence-based practice process and implementation science. Emphasis is placed on stakeholder engagement, outcome measurement, and the integration of quality and safety science. Students will design a small-scale, QI pilot and propose a program evaluation component.
