NURS 8050 Research Apprenticeship 3.0 Credits
Research Apprenticeship provides doctoral students with mentored, hands-on experience in the conduct of nursing and health-related research. Students work directly with faculty investigators and research teams to engage in real-world research activities such as study planning, data collection, analysis, dissemination, and project management. Under close supervision, learners develop practical research skills and professional competencies while contributing to an active research project. The apprenticeship supports individualized learning goals and helps students identify feasible scholarly contributions that prepare them for independent research careers.
