NURS 9998 Dissertation I 1.0-6.0 Credit
Dissertation I supports doctoral students in producing, revising, and finalizing the written dissertation document. Emphasis is placed on developing clear, rigorous, and well-organized scholarly writing that effectively presents research purpose, methods, findings, and interpretation. Students work closely with their faculty advisor and dissertation committee to draft and refine dissertation sections, integrate literature and theory, and respond constructively to feedback. Through sustained writing and revision, students progress toward a complete dissertation that contributes to nursing science and meets institutional and disciplinary standards.
