ODS 8500 Pediatric and Infant Vision with Laboratory 2.5 Credits
This course provides a model to incorporate the evaluation and management of children into the practice of primary care optometry. The prevalence of vision disorders in this population is significant and many organizations now recommend early screening/exams of children. The special needs of both preschool and school age children will be addressed during this course. This course provides an opportunity to develop a working knowledge for the detection, assessment and intervention of vision problems for children of all ages.
