OPT 7400 Head & Neck Anatomy with Laboratory 2.5 Credits
Head and Neck Anatomy is an introductory course, and serves as a prerequisite to Neuroanatomy, Neurological Examination and Neuro-ophthalmic Disease courses in the curriculum. The course emphasizes anatomical relationships which support clinical application including imaging and the relationship of the head and neck to organ systems. The course provides foundational anatomic information to facilitate the understanding and integration of normal function and pathological changes in the eye and the nervous system. The course focuses on basic and detailed anatomy for pertinent systems and structures. The course also incorporates some related and relevant clinical correlates.
