ORGB 5510 Leading in Dynamic Environments 1.5 Credit
This course provides a series of experiences that helps members to enhance their self-awareness, strengthen their social awareness, and boost their capacity to analyze critical events, make informed decisions, and take appropriate actions as leaders. In this course, we take a strategic perspective on the role of organizational leadership, examining how leaders at all organizational levels provide influence to promote a sustainable competitive advantage. We will examine topics such as self-awareness, individual differences, building and leveraging social networks, motivating and empowering employees, responding in crisis situations, ethical leadership, and managing culture.
