OTD 8701 Health and Wellness Across the Life Cycle 3.0 Credits
This doctoral course examines biopsychosocial theories of health and wellness across the lifespan. Learners integrate occupational therapy models with topics such as lifestyle redesign, chronic condition self-management, complementary practices, and healthy aging. Emphasis is placed on promoting participation and addressing vulnerabilities in individuals at risk for disability. Students take this course to strengthen holistic, lifespan-focused practice and support sustainable health outcomes.
