OTD 8702 Global Perspectives of Health 3.0 Credits
This course explores global health issues, health policy, and the social, economic, and environmental determinants of health. Learners analyze epidemiology, policy responses, and interventions addressing conditions such as malnutrition, injury, mental health, and chronic disease. Emphasis is placed on population health and culturally responsive practice. Students should take this course to develop systems-level thinking and expand impact in global and community contexts.
