OTO 709S Cosmetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery 6.0 Credits

The cosmetic and reconstructive surgery experience includes training in theory and practice of procedures such as rhinoplasty, blepheroplasty, rhytidectomy, chin implantation, skin resurfacing, regional free flaps, and may include training and free flap techniques. The student will learn the names of all instruments, surgical reasoning and strategy, and will develop competence in surgical techniques, demonstrated by the ability to perform the procedures under supervision.
