PA 5810 Competency for Clinical Training I 1.0 Credit
This course designed for physician assistant students who experience an interruption or deviation from the program's standard course sequence after the completion of foundational coursework. This course provides a structured, faculty guided opportunity for students to demonstrate and remediate core competencies necessary for safe progression in the student's education. Students engage in individualized, supervised learning activities tailored to identified areas of need. Through focused independent study, skills practice, and assessment, students must demonstrate readiness to resume the curriculum and meet program defined competency standards required for continued training.
