PAS 6202 Internal Medicine 2.0-4.5 Credits
The five (5) week Internal Medicine rotation takes place in an outpatient or hospital setting, exposing the PA student to the medical management of an adult patient population. Through supervised patient contact, the student will gain experience in performing history and physical examinations, documenting patient encounters, and assessing and managing the acute and chronic illnesses commonly encountered in this medical setting. Students will develop the knowledge and attitudes necessary to provide patient-centered health education. In-Person, Clinical Rotation.
