PBHL 1000 Introduction to Public Health 3.0 Credits
This course provides a foundational understanding of public health as a dynamic field that shapes the health and well-being of populations. Topics include the definition and scope of public health, social determinants of health and health inequities, disease prevention, health promotion strategies, and the role of systems and professionals in advancing population health.
