PBHL 8000 Professional Development 3.0 Credits
This course is intended for first-year doctoral students to immerse them in the intellectual and professional culture of the Dornsife School of Public Health. This course will strengthen students’ scholarly identity by helping them clarify their goals, maximize mentoring relationships, and understand the supports available at Dornsife and Drexel to foster their success as doctoral students. The course also introduces students to key doctoral milestones, professional competencies, and Academic Portfolios to provide a strong foundation for progressing through subsequent stages of doctoral training.
