PHIL 2041 Society, State, and Justice 3.0 Credits
This course is concerned with philosophical issues that arise from the experience of life in society and the relations we have to one another and political institutions. Issues students will consider may include the nature and scope of justice, the legitimacy of states, the persistence of poverty and inequality, and the relationship between democracy, civil rights, and civil disobedience.
