PHIL 3025 Philosophy of Medicine 3.0 Credits

This course is concerned with medicine, disease, and health from a philosophical perspective. This course will examine such concepts as gender, mental-illness, mind-body unity, aging, and physical perfection as derived from both Eastern and Western traditions. Current health policy alternative treatment practices will also be discussed.
