PHTO 2004 Photojournalism and Documentary Photography 3.0 Credits
This course teaches the principles and practices of photojournalistic, documentary, and editorial storytelling for print and multimedia contexts. Topics include news, features, portraits and sports photography, picture story, and interview techniques. The class will approach these subjects through lectures on its history and current practices. Through a series of structured shooting assignments and peer critiques, students will build a visual vocabulary and develop a final printed portfolio.
