PHTO 4001 Alternative Processes 3.0 Credits

This course moves beyond standard digital and silver-based photographic methods to explore the science and art of hand coating paper with light-sensitive emulsions. Students are introduced to techniques that bridge photography with painting and printmaking, allowing them to create unique, handmade images. Class time will feature demonstrations, supervised darkroom time, and group critiques to help students develop a personal artistic vision through experimental practice.
