PHYS 1811 Acoustics 3.0 Credits
Covers the theory describing properties and behavior of sound waves, resonance and harmonics, Doppler effect, frequency analysis, sound perception by the human ear, voice production, room acoustics, electronic production of sound, and the theory behind microphones and speakers. Emphasis will be placed on understanding how sound operates in the physical world and how our ears respond to it.
