PHYS 3851 Introduction to Nuclear Physics 3.0 Credits
Provides an overview of nuclear physics including nuclear structure, nuclear stability, radioactivity and nuclear decay, nuclear forces and interactions, fission and fusion, and the interaction of particles with matter. Introductory elements of quantum mechanics will be included as needed.
