POLS 1000 Introduction to Politics 3.0 Credits
This course introduces students to the study of politics through the discipline of political science and its major subfields. The course provides an overview of core concepts such as power, authority, the state, nationalism, democracy, and political institutions. Students will engage with key theoretical frameworks that shape contemporary political debates and examine the relationship between domestic political systems and international structures and events.
