POLS 2007 Global Governance 3.0 Credits
Is international politics simply about nation-states pursuing their own interests? Is it a realm of anarchy and competition? Or can countries work together to bring some order and peace, and pursue common goals? This course will consider some theories about how it might be possible to bring order to the international chaos and applies these theories to major issues such as avoiding war; tackling environmental challenges; developing the economies of poor countries; and regulating international trade and commerce.
