PROD 2020 Product Design Studio II 3.0 Credits
This course introduces the foundations of human-centered design, examining the physical, psychological, perceptual, and behavioral characteristics of people as they relate to product experiences. Students learn core research methods, including observation, interviewing, qualitative research analysis, and basic usability testing, to understand user needs and translate insights into design decisions. Through lectures and applied projects, students develop the ability to create safe, effective, and empathetic product solutions.
